The abduction and murder of Nicola Bulley (part two)
Inquest attendance: public, media, witnesses
We have to start with the reason we’re all here. Having attended the inquest I am now for the first time confident enough to write about Nikki herself. It’s important everything be disclosed so as to shed light on how the facts were twisted and to get at what really lies beneath.
Nikki
I had always previously refused to sink to their level when they were trying their best to destroy her reputation as part of their sick charade, knowing only what I could spiritually sense. Unfortunately that was never going to cut it against the well-oiled propaganda machine abusing most people, who in the main are inclined to fall for every which manipulation.
This is what I wrote in my first post (Justice for Nicola Bulley - part one) on 18th March:
“While the general public will buy into almost anything, there wasn’t sufficient widespread suspension of disbelief to support this ongoing river narrative. Too many were casting a critical eye and for that reason it may have been considered expedient to destroy Nicola’s reputation and character by gratuitously publishing information of “specific vulnerabilities” and her having been graded as “high risk”. I can’t think of a better ploy to support an unreasonable fixation with the river. I refuse to stoop to their level regarding this outrageous smear campaign other than to say none of what you have been led to believe is backed by fact.”
I added:
To quote a friend of the family who remained anonymous (understandably not wishing the public attention):
Friend: “I feel angry for Nikki. She’s a beautiful kind, loving person. One of the best kind of friends you could wish for. This has painted her in an unfair light.”
Nikki is one of us, part of our spiritual family whom we’re privileged to share divine energies in common. While more often than not during our brief existence in this realm our physical family is aligned with our spiritual family, however the last few years especially has demonstrated that this need not necessarily be the case. There is nothing more important than our soul tribe or else, in this spiritual war I’ve referred to before, all will be lost.
While spiritually blessed, like every other mortal in this physical plane she faced the same mundane challenges of human existence, no different to any one of us.
Her partner Paul described Nikki as a quiet and private person who would keep herself to herself. She adored nothing more than her regular walks with Willow, who was like a third child for her.
Reluctantly, I’ll summarise points that her GP Dr Rebecca Gray made in respect to Nikki since she’d joined the Great Eccleston Health Centre in August 2012, so as to put an end to speculation. In December 2018 she’d been prescribed 20mg SSRI antidepressant for anxiety and low mood (making her one of approximately 8 million people in the UK similarly prescribed). The SSRIs were switched out for a modest dose of beta-blockers (propranolol) in February 2019 which is the standard alternative prescription. Over the next three years Nikki had five routine blood pressure checks (most recent June 2022) of which all were normal with no issues. During this time, with symptoms having eased, repeat prescriptions were provided. It was subsequently during July-September 2021 that Nikki started to experience hot flushes with the onset of the menopause and subsequently started Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in October 2021. Initially, she suffered from headaches but this was resolved by changing the preparation of HRT - which was confirmed by Dr Gray to be standard practice and quite normal.
I have written this reflecting the notes I made at the time and pass no comment for the very obvious reason that I’m a man and daren’t pretend to be able to empathise what all women (some thirty million in the UK) experience. It’s important that people know there was never anything of relevance other than the biological fact of physical Nikki being a woman of a certain age and postmenopause.
In more times, Dr Gray went on to outline how Nikki presented with fatigue in January 2022 and in February 2022 of struggling with sleep as a result of work stresses. She stated how Nikki described how ‘her brain felt like it was overloaded’. She never turned to sleeping tablets to alleviate symptons but instead sought out over the counter Nytol, herbal tea and natural remedies to help resolve the issues. It was explicitly stated in court by Dr Gray that at no time (in the last ten years!) had Nikki ever mentioned, nor given cause to indicate that she would in any way self-harm. Never. Not once. Think back long and hard to who those were behind this manipulation and how they tried to deceive you. At the inquest, for their scripted show, they trode a fine line to prevent automatons (people even unaware they cannot think) in realising how this had been core to the cover-up.
To put the work stresses into perspective, for those unfamiliar, Nikki had returned to the workplace for the first time as a Mortgage Advisor at the beginning of 2022 however in order to do this she had to retrain and pass all the relevant exams. Given she did the lion’s share of everything at home and by nature was meticulous about planning each year ahead, trying to now balance a new career was both ambitious and challenging. A really significant undertaking. Her sister Louise told the court how Nikki would colour code her annual Springer Spaniel calendar given her each Christmas for the entire year in advance, by way of explaining what a planner she was. So, in addition to being an ‘incredible and amazing’ mum to her two children, she worked exceptionally hard to study for exams as well as to build her new career in the mortgages industry that would enable her to regain some financial independence. What was never mentioned so let me add this is that, in addition, she was on the Parent Teacher Association [PTA] at St Michaels on Wyre Primary School from back in 2018-19 (as well as the Year 1 Class Rep) when her eldest daughter started school that year. She was once again Year 1 Class 1 Rep (as well as PTA) at the start of the academic year 2022-23, when her youngest daughter started school. Balancing everything is going to challenge the most resilient person. However, we unequivocally know that she was being very successful and was excited about work, rewarded for all her efforts that were paying off. It was said she was “full of beans” and how she was making plans and looking to the future. She must have been very proud of what she was achieving and rightly so.
You start to see the problem here. The contradictions and why it is so important to know who orchestrated the false picture of Nikki. The final piece of the puzzle I’m yet to mention is entirely unsatisfactory and relates to slurs around alcohol abuse. This is an area from my past that I can claim to be an expert in for all the wrong reasons. I won’t publish social media pictures that exemplify which of their family members liked to drink and party, but will direct you to consider the fact that all photos of Nikki show her as nothing other than composed, reserved and her normal self. We’ll not probe further yet, however there’s no way to tiptoe around the elephant in the room. Her family have been compelled for whatever reasons to accept the scripted verdict, but the quid pro quo involved certain embellishment as well as concealing revealing aspects that would entirely destroy the narrative. There was no reference, no question, not a single attempt to quantify what was meant by more alcohol than usual (mainly over Christmas periods, both 2021 and 2022), when it’s not atypical to have a few more drinks as part of much needed downtime. The incident of the 10th and 11th January is not what it seems and we shall come onto this.
Before turning to the inquest attendance I’ll reiterate that Nikki enjoyed a relatively simple life, was a beautiful soul, a loving mother to her two children, who was happiest in her own company walking eight-year old Willow on country walks. Justice will be served.
Inquest attendance
Public
What appears to have been a calculated ploy by the Coroner’s office to have sent out seat allocations at the last minute worked a treat. Of seventy seats for the public only thirty individuals attended. By my reckoning this included around ten that were local and personally knew Nikki, with the remaining twenty being a mix of decent, honest people from different walks of life that want nothing more than to see Nikki (and her daughters) receive justice.
To this day it mystified me why there has been such little appetite among the locals to pursue the truth. I’ve never had contact to this day from a single person that knew Nikki and assuming you’re now familiar with my blogs from the start, I find this unusual. The local have all been on the receiving end of indiscriminate, unfounded and unfair suspicions - however not from myself. I did make early efforts to reach out and contact some of them (via Facebook of all things) with clear evidence of police corruption at work throughout the investigation. Nothing. My patience is now at an end and from my own observations at the inquest I’ll give some visibility to a darker side of St Michaels on Wyre, not the quaint idyllic place you might imagine.
In what world is this anything but desperately sad that a holy place is desecrated. This is a twisted caricature that popped into my mind and I’ll share. While the very popular League of Gentlemen comedy show was never my brand of humour, I can perhaps now see where inspiration may have come from.
Media
This is where people are understandably confused.
The seats nearest (first four rows both sides) were for the witnesses. The thirty members of the public were sat in allocated seats dispersed among the four back rows in picture. It wasn’t possible to see if there was a handful of media in the balcony area from where seated. Presumably so, but this was just for show purposes anyway. A short way down the corridor there was a dedicated room ram-packed with media sat with their computers and phones merrily poised to start pushing out misleading stories based on half truths to bamboozle remote audiences. It should be noted that they had also been provided with reams of more detailed information that was not disclosed in in the inquest itself. This is all a show! Another pre-planned staged peformance!
For clarity, everyone rises as the Coroner enters the court at the beginning of proceedings at 10.55am the first day up to which point not a word has been spoken. This is all another elaborate deception with mainstream media, the above example of GB News publishing the answer in less than one hour from when nothing had even been uttered. 🧐
If you fall into the trap of trying to make sense or unpick it the media rubbish, you have already failed and fallen for their newly scripted cover-up. Please understand there’s a distinction between what was sworn testimony at the inquest and the part-truth and part-fiction accounts distributed across the airwaves (the timeline being but one example). What passed for sworn testimonies at the inquest was wholly inconsistent in and of itself, before you even start to contemplate the barrage of additional distractions and fake news.
Recruited as chief manipulator on the ground this time was Mark Williams-Thomas, live tweeting from outside County Hall (no signs of Inzamam Rashid and Sky News this time around!).
Mark W-T was appointed Newsquest Investigations Editor group-wide in July 2022. Newsquest Media Group (with 5,000 employees) is the second largest publisher of regional and local newspapers in the UK. I trust you’re getting the hang of this now - manipulators in key positions to work their magic on deceiving their audiences. I now know him to be dishonest and a key media asset to support the cover-up. Is it payback time for previously bigging him up to make out he exposed Jimmy Savile? (he didn’t, it was just sanctioned by the same powers that be it was time and that he could play the hero of the day).
Oh how I’d relish him engaging me on even one of the numerous aspects that show this all to be an elaborate cover-up. You can try this for yourself and as a tip, especially if you’re prone to being fooled I’m afraid, take any bombshell revelation and seek to get engagment on it. Radio silence is what you’ll get because the more skilled players know they cannot engage. It’s only the congenitally stupid or brainwashed that resort to denial and deflection without an iota of substance. Main players are smart. They need to ensure (or try their best in vain) to not get found out. However, I see you Mark (and now so will many more). 🧐
Before getting to the twenty-one witnesses themselves I must remind you of this prolific ‘freelance’ photographer, a key asset in the entire operation, who was swanning around both days. I would presume he’s documenting it all for his masters as he certainly will have done so covertly on Sunday 19th February (after having taken the published Jason Rothwell photos the prior day, on Saturday). 👋Chris Neill.
This edited clip on twitter is hilarious and I invite you to have a good laugh at his expense. We see you! 🧐
Witnesses
This is really important. It’s my intention to provide you a first hand account of my impression based on what I saw and heard in court. I will therefore provide the objective facts but also share my subjective opinions, the distinction of which I hope to make clear enough.
When you read the printed media reports, the purpose of which are to mislead you with the sole intention of preventing you from seeing through to the truth of events that transpired, this is only possible with a more solid foundation on which to combat their misinformation. It’ll be up to you to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.
In order of appearance:-
(1) Dr Alison Armour (Home Office pathologist)
Poppi Worthington & Dr Alison Armour
I’ve included a link above to the Poppi Worthington saga. It doesn’t come as a surprise as to why Dr Armour might just have been the perfect choice for this particular inquest to provide an account of the post-mortem, quite likely on the proviso that she would reach her conclusion of ‘drowning’ and ‘no third party involvement.’ I wrote in my last blog just some of the intentional lack of questioning that would have left her floundering.
It wasn’t hard to pick out the catchphrase of the day (DSI Smith uses this twice also). The coroner directly asked Dr Armour whether there was any sign of trauma to the neck, to which she couldn’t get the answer out fast enough of “none whatsoever”. I don’t dispute this at all only that it appeared as the lame arranged effort to hoodwink people that there was no foul play, hoping everyone just ignore all the other obvious signs. As per my last post, half an hour in and with Dr Armour’s testimony over, the coroner was in a position to declare Nikki had gone into the river by the bench and drowned! I’d say you couldn’t make it up but they did in fact roll with this.
This woman gave me bad vibes, I don’t like her face and in my opinion I believe her to be fundamentally dishonest, albeit under oath I am not suggesting she lied, but rather was forthcoming in so far as parameters laid out for her. There’s but one other person that ever saw Nikki’s corpse to my knowledge and this was the surgeon Andrew Edwards who identified the body that ended up in the morgue as that of Nikki through her dental records. We can never know what may be concealed, nor the chain of custody involved (where her body came from), only that it is reasonable to assume they truly did bury Nikki herself. I don’t know about you, it might just have been less horrific if they’d only pretended to have her body. There’s something even darker and desperately depraved about having the very proof in their possession in my opinion.
(2) PC Matthew Thackery (underwater search diver)
Unapologetically ME True Crime does a nice job of showing up this farce of the River Wyre production in her latest video: ‘The Inquest - part one’. In the inquest itself we had to sit through forty-five minutes of testimony and video that was also dragged out after some banter to and fro between the coroner and Thackery about the sheer physical exertion it would take to swim upstream against the current (🤡), with the coroner then requesting: “let’s finish the photographs”. Oh yes, there were what felt like hundreds of aerial shots and zoomed in pictures of blades of grass that we were compelled to sit through. I understood at this point why Dr Adeley had made his warning about repercussions of any disruption explicit at the very beginning. I had the urge to jump up, vault across the seating areas between myself and where he was holding court to beat him to a pulp.
This ambitious officer may expect a promotion in the not too distant future for his acquiesence in agreeing to be commissioned by the coroner back in early April “to assist with the coronial process.” There was but one clear thing he was tasked with and this marked the point of no turning back, having joined others aiding and abetting in the cover-up of Nikki’s abduction and murder. I doubt he’s even fully aware such is the guile of Dr James Adeley. PC Thackery had been involved on the first day 27th January and is genuinely part of a specialist search team, so it was priceless to observe at the end of his attempts to display ‘cliff-edge drops’, when Dr James Adeley asked him “were you involved in the recovery?” (to which the answer obviously was ‘no’).
They were all actors Dr James Adeley as you well know you snake! PC Thackery, now having sold his soul from which there is possibly no redemption, is for sure a genuine long-serving underwater search diver of eight years - and was not therefore suitable for a stage show made up of actors.
(3) Professor Michael Tipton & Dr Patrick Morgan (expert witnesses)
Professor Tipton is a world expert in drowning and cold water shock as well as Dr Morgan who is also an expert in the same field. Two for the price of one providing joint testimony. Let me start by emphasising I believe both men to be honest and having provided their testimonies to the best of their abilities. However, aside from expert knowledge in a niche area, are totally clueless and putty in the hands of those (e.g. Dr James Adeley) who wish to manipulate them for his own ends. I’ll draw a parallel to the ‘experts’ recruited to deceive most of the civilised world to inject themselves with undisclosed synthetic nanoparticles under the pretence that it was a vaccine for a so-called virus. It’s not difficult to weaponise ‘experts’ to support an agenda as it’s precisely these people that are generally devoid of the ability for independent thinking.
Back to the inquest and once Dr Adeley had blown enough smoke up his arse about his preeminence, Professor Tipton started to wax lyrical about everything to do with cold water shock. What I learned from his presentation was that if you want to murder someone and totally get away with it, get yourself an ice bath and then submerge someone in it, before then dumping his or her body into a nearby river or suchlike. Good to know, but please don’t do this🙏. The thing I asked myself (and noted) while staring intently at Dr Adeley was whether he was gloating, seeing as he now had a stooge telling everyone in plain sight the technique as to how Nikki was most likely murdered. Not dissimilar to PCC Andrew Snowden in a video interview that I wrote about in an earlier blog.
The coroner’s pièce de résistance once the two witnesses had reached a climax, excited by demonstrating their expertise in everytihing to do with cold water shock was this killer question:
“What do you think happened in this case?”
Outstanding👏Suddenly our world-renowned experts, unsure if they have even been within a country mile of St Michael’s on Wyre started talking about Nikki entering the water. What a couple of prize clowns, used as pawns in this staged cover-up.
(4) Sergeant Lorna Dennison-Wilkins (PhD: a study of human body movement in inland waterways)
A police diver of eight years and existing Police Search Advisor from Sussex, having recently completed the above doctorate. While evident she didn’t buy into PC Thackery’s improvisation in a lot of his half-baked testimony she stuck to her area with honesty and integrity.
Dr James Adeley was at it again though, again looking to use his pawn to gaslight the audience.
“…not operational, interested once she drowned about her going downstream”
Can you see how smart Dr Adeley is? Pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes by rolling out individuals with expert knowledge to have people internalise their lie and cover-up.
It’s about 2.15pm in the afternoon at this stage and after some interesting but irrelevant statistics about the percentage of people drowned that have gone into the water intentionally versus unintentionally, and some expert testimony on theoretical flows of water where the fastest speeds tend to be the outside of the bend, finally out of the blue things started to perk up.
(5) Kay Kiernan (school witness)
Between 8.30am and 8.40am, Willow was in the back of the car and they briefly chatted (about dogs). Normal mannerisms, nothing of concern here. However, opening with a credible, straightforward witness is a good tactic before descending into the depths of make-believe.
(6) Richard Fife (alleged fields eyewitness)🚩🚩🚩
He was not in attendance in court and the coroner read out his witness statement on his behalf!
Entered at the top end of Allotment Lane with his black labrador Lily at 8.50am (noting the ‘man in black’). He passes a man walking a dog c.9.00am, he continues to walk clockwise around field and back to brick building 9.10am-9.20am (seeing Nikki on the opposite side of field with her phone out in front of her🧐). On way back he saw a woman with her dog before exiting back out of Allotment Lane c. 9.30am. The ‘man in black’ was still there but not when he drove past later.
Not a single media source has referenced that this is totally contradicted by DSI Rebecca Smith’s account which is reflected in the police files the media had possession of in time to publish before the start of the second day of the inquest (complete with grainy supposedly time-stamped CCTV images of Richard Fife) whereby he was long gone before 9.00am!
I started a little digging wanting to know more behind the witness statement (his sworn testimony) as presented to the court and read out by the coroner.
This had to be him and from Facebook it was straightforward to establish he has lived for many years in central France where his daughter, Amy, attended secondary school before relocating at some point in her adult life to Garstang. No response to my polite email, but Amy did respond to my first text before no longer responding just as soon as I stated why I wanted to make contact with her father. I like to be fair and balanced, but if having provided the opportunity said person acts as if they have something to hide it’s open season.
THEORY: having proven previous timelines and witnesses to have been falsified to obscure pretty much everything during the investigation, including having outed the Barlows (their cover blown) as being implicated in what took place, Lancashire Police required another witness in the fields for 9.10am - the last sighting. Enter stage left, Rick Fife (stooge) to pick up where they left off, just another man with a dog, everyone’s a winner. For good measure and for those that will never buy the bullshit river story they decide to offer up a man in black to capture the imagination! However……the script writers in rebuilding a more detailed fantasy, at some point during the last four months preparation introduce yet another eyewitness for their last sighting in the fields. On other words, someone has dropped a bollock and while enjoying their man in black deception (the entire purpose of Rick Fife’s very being), they forgot to change his timings so as to leave the area before 9.00am. Mindfuck or what?!🤪
Unfortunately in processing this, if you’re to accept the sworn statement as read out in court you’re necessarily compelled to agree that Lancashire Police have falsified everything again! I explained in the last blog on the police timings provided that it’s clear there was no man in black as otherwise the woman with the pram would have seen him leaving Allotment Lane.
This alone proves that this is part of the elaborate fraud and Richard Fife has a story to tell! It’s so implausible that he came across from France to visit his daughter, drove and parked to be able to walk via Allotment Lane, before allegedly returning to his vehicle and driving back past again confirming the man in black to have left. I know the area, there’s no convenient place to park and that absolutely never happened. Also where would his dog come from (Amy’s dog is white). We’re left with some dodgy images from CCTV of a man with a black dog. Who is it, what day, what time?
So during this whole saga there’s been a bit of priming with sightings of a man in black and the internet going wild😂Suckers if you fell for it😉
(7) Clare Chesham (alleged fields eyewitness)🚩🚩🚩
I sensed everything was as it seems, a genuine local resident, also on the PTA and a Class Rep at the local primary school, who has previously donated to the church when funds were being raised. She emphasised it was a very quiet morning, but did pass someone coming the other way on the riverpath, then sighted Nikki in the fields on at least two occasions as well as hearing Willow barking at some point. Walking only the one loop (while Nikki was on her second loop) she then saw Penny on her return as she left via Allotment Lane.
However, there are at least three issues one of which I refer to now regarding the content of her testimony. We’re asked to now believe she was the last person to see Nikki at 9.10am in the upper field it turns out! Well, knock me down with a feather. Please someone explain to me how this well known local resident comes out of the woodwork as if by magic at the inquest - never heard of before it any capacity - to replace the phony Barlows. Remember the white fluffy dog act? Stop and think hard please. What’s going on?
To remind you that Richard Fife also, through his earlier statement, claims to be this witness albeit I’ve already explained how this exposes much of their new deception.
(8) Lucie Musella (friend - text message)
Nothing to see here other than this was always original evidence that proved Nikki was making plans and positive about the future. Nikki had messaged Lucie the Thursday evening (for a playdate for Sophie and also to meet up on the Saturday socially). Lucie replied the Friday morning at 8.13am to which Nikki confirmed back (including the happy face emoji) at 8.59am. Poor Nikki was in high spirits blissfully unaware of the danger she was in.
(9) Penny Fletcher (with Ruper Fletcher in the background) 🚩🚩🚩
Penny provided her testimony via video link on Anne-Marie’s computer, presumably from Rupert and Anne-Marie’s cottage adjacent to her farm. Hold on a moment as I’ve said this before and I have to say it again. Penny had up to this point never once confirmed her version of events. Not once. Everyone was being played like a fiddle by the media and with the help of many dodgy Youtubers manipulating the masses. Now, for the first time, it’s reasonable to form a judgement on what she is saying under oath.
It was clear that she’s but one person in all of this who is concealing damning evidence against what happened to Nikki. When she had finished her testimony, although Penny ended the video feed the audio feed was still live for some seconds. A bit indecipherable, but then as clear as a bell Penny exclaiming with what sounded like relief and the seeking of approval (from Rupert): “I hope I…………” You had to be there and were it not for Dr Adeley’s quick reactions to terminate the link from his end then we’d have had a wonderful insight to what Penny can’t say.
I’ll do the detail in part three (timeline) but the most obvious points are Penny inadvertently confirmed 9.33am is a blatant lie - of course it is, always has been. THIRTY-THREE minutes past nine. Get it? The 33 Degrees of Freemasonry (aka deception).
The poor brainwashed souls fixated on the media, still looking at the river, imprisoned by the spells they cast, will always believe to they day they die man actually went to the moon😂. The great Buzz….33rd Degree Freemason😉 Enough, I’ll behave and return to the task at hand.
On the whole I believe the version of events Penny outlined, which included her bumping into Keith Barlow in the field near the bench, having a brief interaction with him, before Penny went off back to her farm conscious of a 10.30am appointment that she still made in time. The one major anomaly is the harness that was allegedly in a bundle between the bench and the river. The others we come on to, testify it was on the bench and no-one claims to have moved it. Hold this thought as it is surely important.
(10) Susan Jones (retired carer, 3rd on the scene - excludes Keith Barlow)
Reliable and truthful. A trusting person I sense, old school, not one that could possibly start to fathom the depth of depravity that this is world drowning in. The detail will come in the timeline, however the harness was definitely on the bench when she arrives with a friend Norma Kershaw at around 10.30am, as Roger (her husband) is completing his loop of the field. I referred to it before - Susan Jones gives the account of what Anne-Marie relayed to her after speaking to Paul. The classic line: “she’s struggling” - this was the start to the cover-up. It occurs to me as Susan Jones didn’t come across as the sharpest tool in the box, that this was most certainly projected into her mind. In giving a later police witness statement there is not a cat in hell’s chance that this would have spontaneously been recollected with all the confusion surrounding what her earlier movements and actions were.
(11) Roger Jones (2nd on the scene - excludes Keith Barlow)
Remarkable! Was I dreaming? For no-one to have determined his identity four months after being splashed across every media outlet and for him to be made to look shifty in a one-off Sky News live broadcast, with journalists at the heart of this total deception - Inzamam Rashid (chunky monkey and deceiver-in-chief out in the field) and Kay Burley (doing her lady in red impression) - just gobsmacked! As with his wife, relatively simple and sees things at face value. On other words, the perfect pawn to be manipulated to maintain the cover-up of the earlier abduction.
It is now known beyond doubt that he was nowhere near the gate and fields until after 10am. Well, well, well! Once again he discovered the harness on the bench, before walking on, the phone call with his wife by the brick building and the rest that follows.
(11) Helen O’Neill (school witness and local resident, garden backs onto Allotment Lane)
A credible witness in my opinion who had come forward to present what she knew from that morning. A problem for the barrister, but she simply dismissed Helen just as soon as she’d provided her testimony. Given what she knew, she couldn’t very well not have been asked to testify for their scripted** verdict, so I believe the narrative was tweaked accordingly to ensure it tied off these loose ends.
Having seen Nikki at school (no interaction), around 8.40am as the gates are closing, she returned home. She messaged a neighbour from her back garden at 9.34am when she heard a scream (‘not alarming’) from the river. At c. 10.00am she saw a white van going down Allotment Lane.
[** in case you don’t remember, the script says that Nikki went straight under the water and so there’d have been no audible scream. Neat isn’t it?]
To help stimulate just a question or two for anyone still catching up slowly, here’s a brief video of the area. As Columbo would say, “just one more thing”…………
(12) Veronica “Nancy” Claesen (school witness, Tennis Club Secretary)🚩🚩🚩
Previously PTA (and Year 3/4 Class Rep) at St. Michaels on Wyre Primary School 2018-2019 the same time as Nikki joined.
Not a convincing testimony and I find it hard to believe in her case it be due in any way to the environment of the court itself. She alone provided the strangest witness account at seeing Nikki at the school that morning before her forty minute tennis club meeting. She blurted out Nikki “looked vacant” and usually does. It’s convenient this witness also (later than Helen O’Neill at c. 9.50am) heard a short scream from the graveyard area. We were then treated to great detail about how it was definitely an “inhale scream” as opposed to an “exhale scream”.
With the benefit of firsthand experience attending the inquest, I’ll share my opinion by way of theory here.
THEORY: I don’t believe her and I suspect her to be lying for the possible reason that Helen O’Neill’s true account may have proven an issue the script writers wish to circumvent. Hence introduce a second later non-sensical ‘scream’ to sow in your mind that Nikki went into the river, cue the inhale scream from shock consistent with this. Of course Sophie Cartwright KC later clarifies in summing up that both screams can be dismissed as irrelevant due to the claimed circumstances of Nikki’s drowning (straight under), as well as the times that aren’t consistent it having already occurred.
It’s this sort of thing that makes me want to look for connections that might be of interest.
(13) DSI Rebecca Smith (Senior Investigating Officer)🚩🚩🚩
Dr James Adeley was sure by way of introduction to emphasise her expertise and PIP 3/4 qualifications as a strategic investigator for high profile complex, serious and organised/major crime investigations. Their way of rubbing our faces in it, all being communicated in plain sight as it always is.
With a huge lever arch file and colour-coded file dividers at her side - the script they’ve been working on for four months now! - we experienced a polished performance unlike the rabbit in the headlights back at that police press conference in February. Since it’s mainly detailed timelines this will have to wait.
Dr Adeley threw in the odd pre-planned question such as whether the police identified any suspicious individuals from CCTV. Altogether now, 1/2/3, “none whatsoever” - the stock answer which she used again - in much the same way Dr Alison Armour had earlier. As I’ve already confirmed Richard Fife’s presumably scripted testimony directly contradicted the entire timeline as did Penny Fletcher’s.
There we are. DSI Rebecca Smith got through unscathed.
(14) DC Keith Greenhalgh (Digital Specialist)🚩🚩🚩
My concerns with his testimony is not about his character - unlike DSI Smith - but that I don’t think he’s particularly competent. Can you believe he’s been Digital Specialist for Lancashire Constabulary for the last twenty years! This means he started in his post four years before anyone on the planet had even heard of an iPhone😬It was abundantly clear that he has not followed technological innovations since.
Still he managed to hold the fort for half an hour leading up to the end of day one. He spent a lot of time explaining with the use of slides how, having also field-tested it for himself, that you couldn’t track movements whatsoever from the analysis of Nikki’s iPhone. I wrote down: ‘expert testimony to say it’s all crap and no use whatsoever.’
What the slides did show was all the locational pings from the phone centred around the bench and Rowanwater lake. Don’t go there….as he supposedly replicated this for himself when he walked around the fields for himself.
Things improved when he started detailing the information obtained from Nikki’s Fitbit Versa 4. He managed to debunk himself when he presented the step count and distance walked data in fifteen minute intervals between 8.00am and 9.30am, proving that any conclusions they were trying to draw from the step data is worthless. I have these, you don’t need it presently as it’s gibberish.
The media have been careful to refer to sporadic, unreliable ‘heart rate’ readings some days later before the device lost charge on 4th February - in testing on inanimate objects, this was allegedly observed when the tank was unplugged and there was a suddenly a flow of water that could create this. What they fail to report is that he testified that the heart rate readings were rock solid and reliable (confidence level 3) until 11.48am that very morning.👏
I’ll just leave this here for you to think about. Unfortunately far from the farce of “very possibly” falling into river of near freezing water at 9.22am, their very own information will be used as evidence to demontrate that Nikki was first abducted (still alive at this point) and subsequently murdered - but not necessarily when the Fitbit stopped readings.
(15) Dr Rebecca Gray (Great Eccleston Health Centre)
She provided a thorough, professional testimony including when Nikki attended the Fleetwood walk-in centre on 11th January for an injury to the back of her head (which I understand was from the night before - though I missed this particular comment), suffering from some drowsiness and vomiting. She was referred to Blackpool A&E for a CT scan and was given the all-clear.
(16) Dr Theresa Lewis Leevy (Mental Health Clinician)
She forms part of the Psynergy team that crew a NW Ambulance NHS Service Trust vehicle that is crewed by a senior mental health nurse, a paramedic and a police officer to attend people experiencing a mental health crisis. Let’s start at the end. She stated clearly that Nikki did not meet the criteria for a visit and also confirmed that Nikki showed no signs of depression or low mood.
It could be asked as to who prioritised the attendance of this crew to Paul and Nikki’s home at about 7.30pm, subsequent to the call placed by her sister Louise given an ambulance of any sort is as rare as hen’s teeth. Moving on, while her testimony was entirely truthful - on other words to repeat how she was primed by Paul and Louise - this impaired her objective assessment. She went upstairs to attend to Nikki who was sat up and dressed, but looked ready for bed. Appearing ‘intoxicated’ she was only able to elicit a brief interaction with Nikki who didn’t want to engage. Nikki was confused as to what had occurred without being able to qualify this statement and said she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.🚩 She did make a few slightly cryptic comments including something about children, about “not wanting to be here” and also being too busy to sort her mortgage to attend a GP appointment the next day.
I was shocked to the core as to what I was hearing, not least as we’d already heard how Nikki had attended the walk-in centre the following morning, allegedly from a fall this very evening. If Nikki subsequently went to sleep had this already taken place, hence the drowsiness? We have no idea. Nobody wanted to know, certainly neither the coroner nor the barrister. Unfortunately, by another team effort to gloss over any inconvenient truths this but leaves a really unpleasant consideration that Nikki wasn’t drunk, but rather drugged. I’ll stop at this but I know the difference and if Dr Lewis Leevy had been asked questions as she ought to have been, much that is concealed would be revealed.
(17) Louise Cunningham
It comes down to what we’re not being told, so I’ll address what stands out. On questioning of sorts from Dr Adeley after she’d given a moving statement about Nikki and what she was like as a person, he picked up on the “not wanting to be here” comment to which she reacted defensively, denying she remembered that comment even being made. I may be prone to read too much into things but in my opinion this indicated gamesmanship, with him showing he holds the power to determine the verdict. Regarding the comment itself against all the context provided at the inquest I understand the ‘here’ to either be referring to her home or perhaps just the bedroom given it was only early evening (and not to what Dr Adeley wanted to allude to).
The second instance was when the coroner was still displaying his position of strength, exploring whether Nikki would throw herself inthe river in the context of leaving Willow for example - to which Louise (and everyone we’ve ever seen for that matter) confirmed absolutely not, he actually said this: “let’s talk about the keys”. He started to discuss whether she’d want to inconvenience anyone by keeping her car keys with her! Louise was all but ready to tell him to fuck off, your game’s over. She held it together though with “not relevant” for the record.
Since Louise stayed with Paul and Nikki for a few days until Friday 13th January it’s a remarkable ommission that nothing was said about her visit to A&E. What we did learn is Nikki had a deadline for a refresher course exam and successfully completed both modules during this time. Why was this never explored? It’s a major problem.
Finally, Louise confirmed that she’d sent a text that Friday morning (27th) at 8.52am confirming having booked a spa day for them both 18th March, to which Nikki hadn’t made a reply. Unsurprising as she was composing a work email and then only having had time to reply to her Lucie’s text from earlier that morning at 8.59am before dialling into the Teams call at 9.01am. It’s only recently come to me why Sophie Cartwright, the barrister, was so desperate to correct Louise and spoonfeed her that she’d allegedly sent a follow-up text to Nikki at 9.18am that went unread. It stood out as so bizarre. However, this aspect of the new story is a key component published by the press after the inquest, which goes to clearly show clearly that this barrister had the full media script in her hands the whole time. You might think this later text would have been revealed as part of the original investigation. In my opinion, judging by the interaction in court, this is part of the fabrication by the script writers and never happened. Need to think about the why, but the takeaway is this deceitful barrister working to pervert the course of justice.
(18) Paul Ansell
As we know no question was raised to ascertain if he’d ever said to Anne-Marie that Nikki was struggling. From everything I’ve ever seen and together with his inquest testimony, I say not. It couldn’t be clearer that there is very relevant information that we’re not privy to among the family members and that they’re each burdened with this in different ways. Clear from the body language.
Paul came across as you’d expect someone to who feels genuine grief and it was the only time proceedings had to be halted for about five minutes, so as he could leave the court to compose himself outside. In my opinion raw emotions of grief, guilt and shame perhaps (absolutely, categorically not having had any involvement in her death - I wish I didn’t even need to clarify this). I suggest he knows he didn’t deserve Nikki and may even come to finally understand this for the first time, but everything that has drawn you to consider him as the villain of the piece is a part of the script to keep you away from a far more disturbing reality. Look here, don’t look there!
His account was entirely consistent with what has always been put forward. He stayed up late to work to US times which is why on Ring doorbell footage he looks half asleep while Nikki has been up early, prepared the children for school and cracks on with the day. With Nikki being so well organised he expects to see her back after her dog walk around 10am, but 10.15am at the latest, hence the text messaging including: “have you got lost?”
Credit to him for not being taken in by a truly awful person, I suspect devoid of any emotion, Dr James Adeley. Like how he manipulated other witnesses to provide answers he wanted, he attempted to have Paul explain the harness placement. “Why there?” Remember it’s not even definitive where it actually was and this is unlikely to be resolved in it’s own right. Nevertheless, Paul confirmed he had no idea, and reading between the lines and how he described the routine with the harness he might as well as come out and said that Nikki would never have dumped it in a bundle down the riverbank!
(19) Mr & Mrs Bulley (Ernest and Dot)
As part of their testimony they confirmed their Thursday routine weekly collection of the girls from school. On 26th Jan they stayed a bit later (until 7pm) helping out with the girls, allowing Nikki to complete some work in the home office. They’d had “another lovely evening”. Nikki was described as being “elated and positive” and “happy” - having had a successful work meeting that very day.
One thing I mention here but relates to end of day two which concluded at around 2.40pm. I was dumbfounded by the genuine warmth and close relationship between Mr Bulley and DSI Rebecca Smith, all the more so as I believe he’s an intelligent man and nobody’s fool. Throughout the family had been represented by Terry Wilcox of Hudgell Solicitors and Sophie Cartwright KC of Deans Court Chambers on a pro bono basis with the assistance of charity Advocate through the Pro Bono Connect scheme.
Summary
In casting your mind back to part one (omissions), now I hope to have provided some useful content to the two days of the inquest itself.
To not get wrong-footed from this point it’s necessary to remember that the police have intentionally misdirected everyone from the very beginning, obscuring the events wherever possible. Whether on their own initiative which is doubtful, this included fabricating eyewitnesses to suit their narrative while concealing the identity of anyone who had any connection to the morning itself. This led to the final stage of the investigation that was a macabre, scripted theatrical performance wherein the police played their part to fool the public with an absurd narrative of the supposed discovery of her body in the river. All the while elements from mainstream media and suitably appointed journalists have been directed to be proactive in roles to deceive, while many more know not to ask questions.
This was all managed over a matter of weeks, since which point at the end of February they’ve had a further four months to plan for the inquest which was scripted from start to finish, but necessarily has had to blend much truth with sufficient fiction to stick to the agreed ‘main working hypothesis’ from which they can never stray.
I enjoyed dot to dot as a child since I was rubbish at making or drawing anything. Inching forward towards getting justice for Nikki Bulley requires much the same approach, by first finding all the correctly numbered dots and ensuring to join them together in the right order. There were so few from that first day but now they have had to provide many if not all of them, cloaked within a raft of new deceit and distractions.
Blatant contradications - some of which I have signposted - can never be ignored and are usually the most revealing.
Synchronicity is a fascinating phenomenon and as to what I mentioned before on connections, now a little spitballing and observations, nothing more. As Carl Jung was quoted as saying:
“Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.”
I don’t recall it ever being mentioned of Nikki that she’d always been part of the PTA at St Michaels on Wyre CE Primary School. By chance we also have Anne-Marie Fletcher as a Foundation Governor from November 2022, with both Clare Chesham and Veronica Claesen part of the PTA and lest we forget Emma White - having attracted so much attention during the investigation itself - who since September 2019 is also Parent Governor and currently Vice Chair for the school. From the PTA school minutes it’s evident that from 2019 BAE Systems were offering six-week courses, but as Europe’s largest defence contractor I’m unsure what their connection would be with primary education.
Nonetheless, coincidentally both the husbands of Clare Chesham and Veronica (“Nancy”) Claesen joined BAE Systems the very same year as Paul Ansell joined (in 2006). Paul worked there for eight years before setting up his first limited company, Ansell Engineering Limited (which he later applied to be struck off in November 2018). The two respective husbands mentioned remain at BAE Systems in senior roles to this day. All uncanny coincidences especially when not having the first clue as to what the background of certain other interesting parties with a story to tell such as Rupert Fletcher might be.
Anyway, every aspect to the new narrative has a purpose, with all the scripted elements designed to have some effect in concealing the truth. It’s clear the deck was loaded at the inquest with the coroner and barrister playing their roles and conducting the orchestra, however they made a number of unforced errors.
For now I leave you with this musical gem - perhaps the one track missing from their live set list when I saw them play as the sun was setting in Milton Keynes last Sunday, the perfect preparation the night before the inquest itself.
Part three (timeline) will follow in a couple of weeks time.
It’s not to be rushed as it pertains to producing as near a flawless account of what really happened and when as possible, so to enable the prospect of an application under section 13 of the Coroners Act 1988 to instruct a real investigation into Nikki’s death. However, this time not by a corrupt coroner such as Dr James Adeley.
A very perceptive and astute account. Please be careful. Can't wait for part 3.
Thank you Chris. I can read between the lines that it boils down to the white van. How come police has never investigated it. How come Chris is the first one to tell us about it. This case stinks like a sewer.
